ABOUT VENUE / Jeju, South Korea

Jeju is a South Korean island in the Korea Strait with its own unique culture. Jeju is full of breathtaking sights and unusual attractions: World Heritage Sites (such as Hallasan Mountain and Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak) and sandy beaches alongside turquoise waters. Small mountains ((called Oreum (오름) in Jeju dialect)) are found all across the island. The “Jeju Olle” paths offer a great opportunity to explore this unique landscape, leading visitors among quiet places off the beaten path. Among all of Jeju’s natural wonders, three sites have been recognized as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO (2007): Hallasan Mountain, Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, and the Geomunoreum Lava Tube System.

Jeju’s phenomenal natural beauty, historical legacies, quirky museums, and array of water sports make it one of the best vacation spots in Korea.

Conference Schedule / complete conference plan

Please downlaod the tentative conference plan for AFM-2016. Please check your schedule and it is requested to be present well before time of your talk. Please bring your presentation both in pdf and power point format and upload it directly at the session room before your session starts.

We have deliberately left slots for session chair in the conference plan to provide an opportunity to the interested candidates. If you are interested to participate as session chair, please send your willingness at afm@functionalmaterials.org as soon as possible. Final decision would be made by the organizing committee.

We are still receiving a lot of registrations from our attendees and these will be incorporated in the plan from time to time but it will not affect your presentation schedule.

The abstracts would be uploaded on our website soon. Any modification request would only be entertained at that time.
